Giorgio Moroder Video

17 Oct

Here’s new Tiny Tide video “I’m In Love With Kurt (But I Really Like Giorgio Moroder)”, from the album “Meat is Moroder”.

It was fun to sing again with the talented Valeria Caponnetto Delleani… and shooting a video as well! Clip director in charge is trusted and friend Stefano Poletti (the same man from “Come Along Pond”).

The song basically is about me trying to persuade a not so mysterious pop star called “Lana Del Leany” to sing with me and collaborate to some songs. The chanteuse is visiting Milan, and one of the vintage robots from my room decide to go out in the Italian city looking for her.

There’s only one problem: since her last obsessions are Nirvana and Moroder that’s the last thing crossing her mind. It was really nice shooting this video. We got lucky by being able to get the best Milan september weather we could have and everyone was so very warm and friendly. Many thanks to all of the Moroder Crow and the one of your willing to spread the voice (and the video as well!)

Moroder

Just like “Plato’s Summer Stars” new Italian indie-pop band “Meat Is Moroder” holds the memories and sounds of Mark Zonda’ summer days.

Everything was recorded in a little room by just an old boy facing his dreams, hopes and fantasies.

Most of the tracks where infulenced by Giorgio Moroder, mainly thanks Daft Punk‘s revival with the smashing summer hit “Get Lucky”.

The cover of the album is designed by UK based Claire Goldthorp Illustrations (www.clairegoldthorp.com).

Valeria Caponnetto Delleani and Elena Sestelo from the Spanish pop band “When Nalda Became Punk” features the tracks “I’m In Love With Kurt (But I Really Like Giorgio Moroder)” and “Newsroom Little Pill”, inspired by the American tv serie The Newsroom. You can buy the album from Amazon, Spotify, iTunes and Bandcamp. Enjoy.
