Kingem Records – The Land of The Pop

“ONE” the video, from Tiny Tide, is born by the urge of Mark Zonda to capture with his camera the places he lived since he was a kid at his grandmother’s house, right after her death.

The house no longer belong to his family, so – someway – shooting a video in there seemed like the most absurd right thing to do in order to give a sad and either absurd love song a proper setting.

This is only a little start for our label. Expect some surprises….

Hi everyone. Some news and updates just before keeping myself busy for 2 hours and 50 minutes to see how 6 years of my life’s gonna end. Because isn’t always down to numbers in the end? Saturday Ive been to Covo Club to see one of my favourite niche bands from the grunge era. Oooh yeah! When everybody was divided between Nirvana and Pearl Jam, all I needed to hear was Polvo and… Quasi! What a great show, with the best part on me shouting for “Johnny B. Goode” and getting the song done!

Waiting for Dum Dum Girls to come and play I live you with some small updates:

• Being all fashion now we’ve got a MySpace place. Go and leave some kind messages
• Next Saturday Tiny Tide will play at Magazzino Parallelo along with Nothing Meets All. Dudes from Magazzino Parallelo was so kind to guest us quite each week for more than 2 years at their rehearsals rooms, so we’re quite excited about this little show. If you’re nearby Cesena come and see
• A preview of “Barry Bianco” track for our first release is available on Neo Italo Movement page in here.
• Stars in Coma is ready for Indietracks! And so are we! We’re already meeting in pubs and planning the greatest fan support ever!
• Tiny Tide has released a new demo called “Right Lane Free”, and unconscious AC/DC cover. Check it out!

Not hard to say, there’s a certain period in our lives when we start to discover music, and each sound we’re listening scratches our souls just like the needle of an old turntable. First it’s rock’n'roll, The Beatles, Simon & Garfunkel, Beach Boys, Leonard Cohen, Steve Wonder, Spandau Ballet, The Clash, the history of rock it’s doomed to live again through out our lives side by side with the tiny steps of our brutal youth. Just a day. And I lived so much! It definitely was so much more than a birthday. Minute after minute I was carried away by your enthusiasm and support, and it was really intriguing and cheerful receiving positive responses from friends and fan and above all bands willing to have an active part on the promotion of the label.
