U.N.DISCO is a collection of fresh original electro pop songs from indie artists all over the globe gathered by Mark Zonda for his Neo Italo Disco Movement project. The Neo Italo Disco Movement is mainly inspired by the cheesy sounds of ’80s electro dance pop and the revival of artists such as Tommy February6 and Sally Shaphiro.

The artists featured on this collection picked aliases true to the Italo Disco credo (exotic-sounding, yet nonsensical).

’80s sounds have totally come back into style thanks to new rave,  psy-folk and indie pop. If you’re in love with MGMT, Animal Collective, Neon Indian, Hot Chip, your video recorded is stuck on Flashdance and The Never Ending Story, or you’re simply a fan of one of the artists that joined the project, well… this album is for you.
